So I thought I would post up somthing that ha been bothering me. I DO NOT WANT to start make thi into a big online agrument. So please just read this and remember Airsoft is a game of honor.
This means your fun it depends on how honest you and the other players around you are. As with all airoft games there is always the issue of non hit calls. Now I will not mention any names or post the many videos I have taken at Ultimate Airsoft showing peaple not calling hits.
All I want is for peaple to remember to check your EGO at the door and play a fair game. What i see allot of is player getting hit and they do not call hit untill they see who/where the shot is comming from. Or a player turning a cover and taking fire right aways, but they wait untill the other player is hit to force the trade.
Now again I am sure lots of times its very difficult to tell what is a CHEAT or a legitimate kill, but again I have seen this happen as a dead player and have it on video.
Everytime I have been to Ultimate Airsoft has been a fun time, but there i always a few guys that are hard to kill and as a experienced or new player, playing getting smashed every game cause a few players are too LEET to take hits is one way to turn people off.
I love that Toronto finally has a great DEDICATED indoor airsoft field, that has staff that actaully care about the game. I hope to shoot and get shot by all of your one day. So lets help Airsoft grow by supporting a great field and keeping our game honest.

I agree and as both the owner and a ref i can say this much, although its very difficult for me to see it i can definetly hear it. We do our best to ensure everyone has a good time but you cheaters out there just bring down the sport. Most of my games are unlimited respawns so that there is no benefit of not calling ones hits. I encourage everyone both young and old to eead this oost and remember that airsoft at its core is indeed a game of honor. Call your hits.

Another thing is to avoid calling others hits, I find it extremely disrespectful because you are accusing someone of being dishonest. I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt and assume that they are being honest and that it is not hitting them.
I've been hearing many players that complain about people not calling their hits and being on the other side of the argument, how do you know for sure that it actually hit them? Maybe your aim was off or your gun didn't have the range to actually hit them. Some people tend to accuse before they are sure, which is disrespectful. I have had a couple experiences where I have got in to a firefight with someone literally face to face and some of his shots didn't hit me and some of mine didn't hit him, possibly from a gun malfunction or maybe we weren't shooting where we thought we were shooting. Also with the red BBs at UA, I find it's really hard to see where your BB lands because of the dark atmosphere. Also sometimes in the heat of the moment, you may not feel the hit or it may take a bit of time to realize that you've been shot because you are focused on one thing.
I'm not directly attacking your post, but I just want to give a balanced argument to the issue. But in your case you say that you have videos of these people so that is pretty strong evidence for that.

What I notice and this is what I say every time an argument starts is that almost all players are wearing tactical vests or plate carriers which are heavily padded, correct? Most vests have the mags on the chest or stomach area which is the largest open area of the human body. I got my friend to shoot me point blank in the chest with a mag in the way and I didn't feel it so when you are shooting someone and they aren't calling it, aim for the legs, knees, arms, etc.they are usually least padded and when you get hit in a bony area, YOU FEEL IT. So many times it works and I don't waste half a mid cap on 1 person

I totally agree with not calling someone else hit when you don't know. Ultimate airsoft games always have tones of respawns so whats the big deal if you die. My biggest problem is when I shoot at someone from the side see them flinch in pain then continue to fire down at another target. I really do find it annoying when players yell at someone to call their HITS. If you have a big problem with someone call them over and speak to the REF and let them sort it out.
I agree that having allot of gear on can make it much harder to tell when you are hit. I am sure I am considered a player who wears a full kit. That being said its still up to you do be aware of what is happening around you and if you may not feel the shot, make sure you hear impacts. If I see somene shooting at me and I am wide open. Just call it, walk 30 seconds and come back in.
